Special consideration was given to inclusion and accessibility during the meeting to ensure meaningful participation for all adolescents. Among the participants was a student with a hearing impairment. To facilitate effective communication and full engagement in the discussions, a sign language interpreter was arranged to support the session.
This intentional measure demonstrates the strong commitment of the AHADI Project partners—KIWOHEDE, BAO, and World Vision Tanzania (WVT)—to advancing inclusive participation and ensuring that adolescents with diverse abilities are fully included in project activities. By providing appropriate support mechanisms, such as sign language interpretation, the project continues to promote equitable access and create safe, enabling spaces where all adolescents, including those with disabilities, can actively engage, share their perspectives, and benefit from the interventions implemented under the AHADI Project.
