Mental Health Refresher Training for Youth Ready Project Facilitators
KIWOHEDE, in collaboration with World Vision Tanzania, conducted a two-day mental health refresher training aimed at strengthening the capacity of Youth Ready project facilitators. The training focused on enhancing participants’ competencies in providing psychological first aid and basic support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges within their communities.
Held at Ngome Hall in Kinondoni Municipal Council, the session brought together facilitators from implementing wards, alongside project staff from KIWOHEDE and World Vision Tanzania.
The training provided an interactive platform for participants to refresh their knowledge, share experiences, and build practical skills necessary for delivering effective and youth-friendly mental health support services.
Through this initiative, KIWOHEDE continues to demonstrate its commitment to promoting the well-being of young people by ensuring that frontline facilitators are well-equipped to respond to mental health needs in a timely, sensitive, and supportive manner.
