KITE Project Empowers Children on Child Rights and Protection

Every child has the right to be safe, heard, respected, and protected. Through the KITE Project, children from eight primary schools have been empowered with knowledge and awareness on child rights and child protection.

The initiative aims to strengthen children’s understanding of their rights, build their confidence to speak up about issues affecting them, and equip them with knowledge on where and how to seek appropriate support when they face risks, abuse, violence, or other forms of harm.

By creating opportunities for children to learn about their rights and protection mechanisms, the KITE Project contributes to promoting safer and more child-friendly school environments where children can learn, participate, and thrive.
