BLOOM PROJECT

The BLOOM Project is a strategic initiative designed to empower adolescents and youth, particularly girls and young women, by enhancing their social, economic, and leadership capacities. The project focuses on addressing systemic barriers that limit young people’s access to opportunities, enabling them to become active and productive members of their communities.
The project is implemented through a partnership between KIWOHEDE, World Vision Tanzania, and World Vision Canada, with financial support from Global Affairs Canada.
The BLOOM Project aims to strengthen the resilience and economic independence of adolescents and youth through comprehensive interventions that include vocational and entrepreneurship skills development, financial literacy, and life skills training. These efforts are complemented by initiatives that promote gender equality, financial inclusion, and youth participation in decision-making processes at community level.
In addition, the project works closely with parents, community leaders, and local government authorities to strengthen community-based structures that support youth development and protection. By fostering an enabling environment, the BLOOM Project contributes to sustainable livelihoods, improved well-being, and inclusive community development.
Through these integrated approaches, the BLOOM Project continues to expand opportunities for adolescents and youth to thrive, lead, and contribute meaningfully to the social and economic development of their communities.
